This page contains program evaluations of several of GOSA's innovative programs. These evaluations serve to inform program staff on whether goals are being met and to provide information to strengthen implementation.

Governor's Honors Program	GHP was not held in 2020 due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, so there will not be a 2020 annual report. GOSA plans to resume the program next year.
Governor's School Leadership Academy (GSLA)	The Governor’s School Leadership Academy (GSLA) provides high-quality, selective, statewide leadership preparation and support designed to develop high-capacity school leaders across Georgia. Through strategic partnerships with other state agencies, Georgia universities, and local school districts, the GSLA helps to ensure that every Georgia school is led by transformational leaders capable of maximizing student achievement. GSLA targets five levels of educational practice to support and develop educators in all phases of their careers – from induction to school and district leadership. The five components of the GSLA are designed to strengthen instructional and leadership practices in order to retain teachers in their first years of practice and to offer pathways for teachers to become transformational leaders in a variety of roles throughout their careers.
Graduates Ready to Attain Success in Post-secondary (GRASP) Program Grant	The Graduates Ready to Attain Success in Post-secondary (GRASP) Program Grant aims to support selected Georgia high schools as they work to increase student success in achieving high school graduation, complete post-secondary programs, and productively participate in the workforce. Implemented by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) and now operated by the Georgia Department of Education’s (GaDOE) Office of School Improvement, the GRASP grant provides funding for one additional school counselor at selected schools.
Growing Readers	Growing Readers is a K-3 literacy professional learning grant designed and implemented through Georgia’s Regional Educational Service Agencies (RESAs) and administered through the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) and the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE). Growing Readers aims to provide consistent and high-quality professional learning to teachers on effective reading instruction to help more children read at grade level by the end of third grade.
