GOSA Releases 2012-2013 IE2 Evaluation

June 12, 2014

The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) today presented the results of the 2012-2013 Investing in Educational Excellence (IE2) evaluation to the State Board of Education.  The 2012-2013 evaluation contains results from Gwinnett County, Forsyth, County, and Rabun County.

IE2 Partnership Contracts provide local school districts with greater governance flexibility as a means to increasing student achievement.  Local boards of education can enter into multi-year contracts with the state Board of Education based on strategic plans developed in partnership with the Georgia Department of Education and GOSA.  On an annual basis, GOSA monitors districts' progress toward meeting IE2 goals and reports the results to the State Board of Education.

More information about the Investing in Educational Excellence evaluation and about this year's performance report results can be found on the GOSA webpage.
