GOSA Releases 2013-2014 IE2 Evaluations

May 6, 2015

The Governor's Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) presented the results of the 2013-2014 Investing in Educational Excellence (IE2) evaluation to the State Board of Education today. The 2013-2014 evaluation contains results from Gwinnett County, Forsyth County, and Rabun County.

Through IE2 partnership contracts schools are given more governance flexibility as a means to increase student achievement. The multi-year contracts with the State Board of Education (SBOE) are based on strategic plans developed in partnership with the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) and GOSA. GOSA monitors districts' progress and reports the restults to the State Board of Education annually.

Additional information regarding the IE2 evaluation and this year's performance report can be found on the GOSA webpage.
