2018 Changes to the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI)
April 1, 2019

The following infographic displays the components of the updated College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) formula. The CCRPI is an accountability tool that measures school, district, and state progress in preparing students for the next step in either their education or career.
The Georgia Department of Education updated the CCRPI in 2018 as a part of Georgia’s state plan under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The five components of the redesigned 2018 CCRPI include Content Mastery, Progress, Closing Gaps, Readiness, and Graduation Rate. The revised CCRPI and each of its components are calculated on a scale of 0-100, and the weight of each component varies by grade band.
