Stacey Lutz

Director of Strategic Programs and Evaluations

Stacey joined GOSA in July of 2015. Prior to beginning her work with GOSA, she served for three years as an Evaluation System Specialist with the Teacher and Leader Effectiveness Division of the Georgia Department of Education. Stacey is also Director of the Governor's School Leadership Academy.

Malenka began her career as a journalist and became a radio news director before changing her career path toward marketing, communications, and promotion.

Office Manager

Alice has worked in state government for over 19 years. Prior to joining the GOSA team September 2019, Alice worked for Georgia Student Finance Commission where she managed the Student Aid Services Call Center.

Regional Leadership Coach, Governor's School Leadership Academy

Karen joined GOSA in August of 2018 as a Governor’s School Leadership Academy Regional Leadership Coach.

Business Manager

Rhonda Burns joined GOSA in April 2019 as the Business Manager.

Operations Specialist

As GOSA's Operations Specialists, Diane maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems and policies.

Jocelyn Carroll

Research Assistant

Jocelyn joined the GOSA team as a Research Assistant. She is a recent college graduate from Georgia Southern University where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Spanish with a minor in International Studies

Trevor Cason

Innovative Programs Specialist

In this role, Trevor provides logistical and operational support to the Innovative Programs Team at GOSA, specifically the Governor’s Honors Program, the RESA Professional Learning grants, and the Reading Mentors Program.

Senior Business Intelligence Architect, GA•AWARDS

Kanti serves as a Business Intelligence Architect for the GA AWARDS longitudinal data system.

Elise joined the GOSA team in November 2017 as a Professional Learning Grants Specialist.

Jaclyn joined GOSA after working with the agency as a Policy and Advocacy Summer Fellow through Leadership for Educational Equity.

Technology Services Manager/Information Security Officer

As GOSA's system administrator, Sean acts in a technical support role both inside the GOSA team and as a technical liaison to external agencies and vendors.

Program Manager, Teacher Development & Retention, Governor's School Leadership Academy

Kim is the Program Manager of Teacher Development and Retention for the GSLA at the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement.

Monica Flamini

Policy and Research Analyst

Monica Flamini holds two bachelor's degrees in history and journalism from the University of Georgia.

Kenneth Johnson

Assistant Director, Governor's School Leadership Academy

Kenneth joined GOSA in July of 2018 on the Governor’s School Leadership Academy team. In this role, he supports principals in turnaround work and those aspiring to become principals in districts throughout the state.

Program Manager, Connections for Classrooms Grant Program

Steve oversees the Connections for Classroom grant program, which aims to provide high-speed broadband access to schools and classrooms.

Jayashree Krishnan

Senior Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect, GA•AWARDS

As the Senior Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect, Jayashree directs the technical design, delivery, and implementation of the GA AWARDS statewide longitudinal data system.

Richard (Ricky) joined GOSA as the Governor’s Honors Program Manager in June of 2014. Ricky has over twenty years of educational experience in both public and independent schools at both instructional and administrative levels.

Brian supports the GOSA staff with information technology needs. Brian has over 20 years of experience in the IT field.

Laine Reichert, Ed.D

Governor’s School Leadership Academy Regional Coach

Laine joined the GOSA team in June of 2019 after 36 years in PK-12 education in South Georgia. She served as Superintendent for six years in two rural school systems and as a district administrator in Human Resources and Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for three years.

Policy and Research Analyst

Haley joined GOSA after working with the agency as a Policy & Advocacy Summer Fellow through Leadership for Educational Equity.

Marcia Strong

Regional Leadership Coach, Governor’s School Leadership Academy

Marcia joined GOSA in August 2018 as a Governor’s School Leadership Academy Regional Leadership Coach. In this role, she supports principals and aspiring leaders in districts across the state in school turnaround work.
