His teaching experience spans from fifth grade social studies to adjunct history instructor, while also serving as an AP US History reader, a College Board consultant, and an administrator in grades Pre-K through 12.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Jacksonville State University, a Master's and Education Specialist degree from the University of Alabama, and completed the University of Alabama’s Innovative Leadership Program.
