Alumni Spotlight

We'll randomly be choosing a new alumna/alumnus from those who have created/approved their profiles inside the directory.

Kimberly

This month’s Alumni Spotlight is on Kimberly Schlapman, a member of the GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, and AMA Award-winning group, Little Big Town.

The band recently launched launched 4 Cellars wine, their first non-musical project as a band, with Browne Family Vineyards. The collaboration features exclusive wine blended by the foursome and recently released canned wine spritzers called “Day Drinking.”

In the cooking space, Kimberly has hosted her own cooking show, Kimberly’s Simply Southern and has also released a cookbook, "OH GUSSIE! Cooking and Visiting in Kimberly’s Southern Kitchen.” In the book, Kimberly shares delicious recipes and soul-stirring stories from her roots in the Appalachian foothills of north Georgia, her travels on tour with the band, and from the life she loves back home in country music’s capital. Kimberly also has released two product lines with various kitchen items and home goods- “Love & Daisies,” with HSN, and “Oh Gussie!” with Cracker Barrell.  She has been seen as a chef or judge on TODAY show, Dr. Oz, The Chew, Pickler & Ben, The View, Beat Bobby Flay, and Chopped Junior.
