How-To Guide for Creating a Summer Literacy Program

Mission Possible: Summer Learning for Struggling Readers provides best practices, tools, and tips presented in a practical, how-to-manner.  By following the ten steps included in the guide, school districts will be able to develop an effective summer reading program tailored to the needs of students struggling in reading. Children who read over the summer are able to close the achievement gap and perform better during the school year than they would otherwise.
