In every role, her primary focus has been providing rich and meaningful learning experiences for learners at all levels. In her current role as Director of School Services, she supports the Governor’s Honors Program as well as working with individual school districts to support assessment and state reporting.  

Fran serves on the board of the Georgia Association for Curriculum and Instructional Supervisors as well as Gordon State College’s Education Advisory Board. She and her husband, Walt, have two grown daughters and sons-in-law. They live in Athens with two Yorkshire terriers and a Labradoodle.
