Bonnie began her career in higher education at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel where she specialized in both hotel and catering sales as well as conference and event planning. She most recently worked for Georgia Southern University in Special Events and Protocol for the Office of the President. Prior to her career in higher education, she worked for Marriott International and now has over 11 years of event and project management experience. 

Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Public Relations from Valdosta State University.
