In this role, she will support principals in turnaround work and those aspiring to become principals in districts throughout the state. Prior to joining GOSA, Dr. Strozier served as a School Effectiveness Specialist with the Georgia Department of Education. She has a passion for supporting educators and focusing on continuous school improvement, which has afforded her the opportunity to serve as a turnaround administrator. For over 16 years, she served in various administrative roles such as the Deputy Director of Morris Brown College Head Start Program, Pre-k Coordinator, assistant principal, and principal.

Dr. Strozier has worked many years in public education and taught courses at the collegiate level. She graduated from Georgia Southern University, Mercer University, Brenau University, and Nova Southeastern University respectively throughout her educational career. She earned a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision along with various certifications, which includes Educational Leadership, Early Childhood Education, Middle Grades, Teacher Support Specialist, ESOL, Online Teaching Endorsement, and National Board-Certified Teacher. Dr. Strozier has served on the Georgia State University Principal’s Advisory Board for over twelve years. Due to her love for learning and supporting others, she recently became certified as a Professional Life Coach and Exhortation Coach to continue the work of supporting the lives of others in a meaningful way.
