Alice also manages GOSA's day-to-day functions such as accounts payable, staff management and reporting, specific communications responsibilities to keep the Governor's Office informed regarding education issues, as well as executive assistant duties for the Executive Director, Joy Hawkins.

Prior to joining the GOSA team in September 2019, Alice worked for Georgia Student Finance Commission as a manager in Student Aid Services. Her team was responsible for providing information and guidance to customers seeking postsecondary options, financial aid planning and other educational services. Alice holds a master’s degree in Management from Shorter University. She has one grown daughter and one son attending Georgia State University. She resides in Lawrenceville with her husband and dog.
