Data Requests
Aggregate Data
Aggregate data are available via GOSA's annual Report Card. These data show state-, district-, and school-level totals for various metrics, and separates the data by student subgroups (i.e. gender race/ethnicity), where applicable.
Data may be accessed online here, or files may be downloaded in .csv format for offline use. Please review these data first to ensure that the data you are requesting are not already available. To request data not available via the Report Card or data prior to the 2010-2011 academic year, please submit a request to GOSA using the Data Request Web Form link below.

Eligibility to Apply for Individual-Level Data
For any research request, the lead researcher must be affiliated with a Georgia higher education institution. Researchers from institutions outside of Georgia must partner with at least one eligible Georgia researcher to serve as the principal investigator for the request. Requests require a rigorous application process in order to protect student privacy and the integrity of data usage. It is not available for dissertations and theses. Please do not submit an application if you do not meet the eligibility requirements. Requests that align with GA•AWARDS Research Questions or the state strategic goals will receive priority. However, all requests will be considered. If you are unsure whether you meet the requirement, please email [email protected].
GA•AWARDS combines data from multiple sources to provide a longitudinal view of student performance, and is therefore only appropriate when requesting data spanning more than a single agency. Requests that involve data from a single agency will be redirected to the appropriate agency’s data request process.
It is highly recommended that any researchers wishing to request GA•AWARDS data become familiar with application requirements and the data available before making a request. Links to further information on available data and the process to request these data are found below.
